Booking policy, cancellation policy, terms and conditions

  • Charter numbers: We will try always try and help make up the numbers on each fishing charter, but the minimum boat price will still apply. If one member of your group drops out, then it is your responsibility to find a replacement or forfeit your payment.

  • If a cancellation is made by Moreton Island Fishing Charters due to weather or operational circumstances you must rebook another date within 3 months of the cancellation.

  • Cancellation-Fourteen days’ notice must be given prior to your booking of your charter. Cancellation less than 10 days for ANY REASON your deposit will be forfeited, and you may receive a refund of up to 50%. Cancellation 2 days before or a no show on the day will forfeit the full amount. Please discuss with Shaun or Katie at time of booking if you have any questions. These rules also apply to gift vouchers.

  • MIFC recommends you discuss with your health care professional about the possibility of sea sickness. There are no refunds in the event of seasickness. Prestige is a large vessel but on the odd occasion seasickness can occur.
  • While you are fishing you are responsible for your rod. If you drop it overboard or break it you are responsible for the replacement cost.
  • All fishing Charters are from Manly Harbour unless otherwise arranged.
  • It is at the Captains discretion on whether he/she allows any electronic devices to be uses on the vessel. If he/ she feels that you may be stealing fishing marks any electronic devices will be turned off and forfeited to the end of the day.
  • If you have ever had any heart complications and/or health complications that could affect you while on the fishing charter please advise Moreton Island Fishing charters before booking is made.
  • Please advise Captain on the day if anyone in your group cannot swim. A life jacket can be worn in case of emergency.
  • Children are allowed onboard however offshore charters are recommended for 12yrs or older. If you have children under this age it needs to be discussed with MIFC to insure the conditions are appropriate.
  • It is your responsibility to make sure all members of your group read these terms and conditions.
